HANDY USE OF SALT !!!!

Hello People!
I’m sure the week has started really well for all of us.

I will be sharing briefly with you on the handy use of Salt. Salt is an essential nutrient that is widely used over the centuries for seasoning and as a preservative. The amount of salt is regulated in our bodies by our kidneys and by perspiration. We all know our bodies are made up of mostly water but did you know it’s actually salt water, with a very similar composition to the ocean? That is why when someone is ill, they receive a saline or salt-water solution directly into their blood stream.

Below are just few tips on handy use of Salt at home:

1. Soak stained hankies in salt water before washing, the result is amazing.

2. Sprinkle salt on your shelves to keep ants away.

3. Soak fish in salt water before descaling; the scales
will come off easier.

4. Test the freshness of eggs in a cup of salt water; fresh eggs sink;bad ones float.

5. Add a little salt to your boiling water when
cooking eggs; a cracked egg will stay in its shell this way.

6. Soak new toothbrushes in salt water before you first use them; they will last longer.

Now that you know there are lots you can do with Salt other than cooking. Don't keep the salt in the kitchen cabinet and be looking for additional help with all the stuffs mentioned above.
Have a fun-filled and stressfree week, and eat salt moderately.
Shalom!
